INDICATION

Cutipro Cream is a protective and barrier rash cream indicated for the prevention and treatment of nappy rash, skin fold irritation, incontinence-associated dermatitis, and minor skin irritation caused by prolonged moisture exposure. It is used to protect vulnerable skin from perspiration, and friction by forming a durable moisture-resistant barrier on the skin surface. It is suitable for use in infants and children.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The protective rash cream works through a combination of barrier, emollient, and soothing mechanisms. Zinc oxide provides a physical barrier on the skin surface that repels moisture and reduces skin contact with irritants such as urine and feces, while also exerting mild astringent and antimicrobial properties that reduce skin inflammation and secondary bacterial or fungal colonization. Dimethicone is a silicone-based water-repellent agent that creates a long-lasting occlusive film on the skin, preventing moisture penetration and reducing friction between skin surfaces. Allantoin promotes keratinocyte proliferation and skin repair, soothing irritated skin and accelerating healing of minor excoriation. Together, these ingredients provide comprehensive protection, soothing, and barrier repair for rash-prone skin.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

•      Apply a generous amount to clean, dry skin at each nappy change or as often as needed

•      Gently cleanse the skin before each application; pat dry rather than rubbing to avoid further irritation

•      Continue use until the rash has healed; always follow your doctor or pharmacist's advice for persistent or severe rash

SIDE EFFECTS

Common:
