INDICATION

Memril 10mg is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease in adult patients. It helps slow the progression of cognitive decline and improves the ability to perform daily activities in affected patients. Memantine is also used as an adjunct to acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AChEIs) such as donepezil or rivastigmine in patients with advanced dementia. MECHANISM OF ACTION

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

•      Dose reduction required in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 mL/min).
