INDICATION:

K-ston Tab 30s is used for the prevention and management of kidney stones, including calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, and uric acid stones. MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Potassium citrate provides citrate ions, which, upon absorption, convert to bicarbonate in the body, increasing urinary pH. Elevated urine pH prevents uric acid crystallization, while citrate inhibits calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate crystal nucleation, growth, and aggregation. This dual action reduces stone formation, supports kidney function, and promotes dissolution of small existing stones.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
