INDICATION

Isvisic Eye Drops are a preservative-free lubricant ophthalmic solution indicated for the relief of dry eye symptoms including burning, stinging, foreign body sensation, and visual fatigue caused by insufficient tear production, environmental dryness, screen exposure, and contact lens wear.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Sodium hyaluronate is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan with exceptional water-binding capacity. Each molecule can retain up to 1000 times its weight in water. Applied topically, it forms a stable, viscoelastic film on the corneal and conjunctival surface that maintains hydration, reduces friction during blinking, and protects the epithelium from desiccation. Its mucoadhesive properties extend residence time on the ocular surface compared to conventional artificial tears.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

●     Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye as needed

●     Can be used as frequently as required

●     Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface

●     If wearing contact lenses, check product compatibility before use

●     Close the eye gently after instillation to distribute evenly

SIDE EFFECTS

Common:

●     Mild transient blurring immediately after instillation

●     Mild tingling in very dry eyes

Less common:

●     Allergic reaction in very rare cases

●     Eye redness if contaminated
