INDICATION

HA Cod Liver Oil Cap is a nutritional supplement providing omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), vitamin A, and vitamin D from purified cod liver oil. It is used to support cardiovascular health, joint health, immune function, brain development in children, and as a general health supplement. It helps maintain normal triglyceride levels and supports bone mineralization through its vitamin D content.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) from cod liver oil incorporate into cell membrane phospholipids, reducing the production of pro-inflammatory eicosanoids and cytokines, lowering plasma triglycerides by reducing hepatic VLDL secretion, and supporting neuronal membrane structure. Vitamin D promotes calcium and phosphate absorption supporting bone mineralization. Vitamin A supports vision, immune function, and epithelial integrity.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

•      Adults: 1 to 2 capsules once daily with food

SIDE EFFECTS

Common:
