INDICATION

Fitty Dent Effervescent Tablets are used for the cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitizing of dentures, dental retainers, and orthodontic appliances. They remove food stains, plaque, and bacterial deposits from removable dental prostheses, maintaining oral hygiene and preventing denture-related stomatitis.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

When dissolved in water, sodium perborate releases active oxygen, which oxidizes and breaks down organic stains, food deposits, and bacterial biofilms on denture surfaces. The effervescence created physically dislodges debris from crevices and grooves on the appliance. Sodium bicarbonate buffers the solution and provides mild alkaline cleaning action. The combined oxidative and mechanical cleaning effect sanitizes the appliance without damaging acrylic or metal components.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

•      Dissolve 1 tablet in a glass of warm water

•      Submerge denture or appliance fully in the solution for at least 3 to 5 minutes (or as directed on the pack)

•      Rinse the appliance with clean water before use

•      Use once daily or as recommended for optimal cleanliness

•      Do not swallow the solution

SIDE EFFECTS

Common:

•      Generally, well tolerated as a topical dental product
