INDICATION

Citolin Syrup 60ml is an oral neuroprotective and nootropic preparation indicated for the management of cognitive impairment, stroke sequelae, traumatic brain injury recovery, Alzheimer's disease as adjunctive therapy, age-related cognitive decline, and ADHD in children. The syrup formulation provides convenient dosing for paediatric patients and adults unable to take tablets.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Citicoline supports neuronal membrane phosphatidylcholine synthesis, enhances acetylcholine production, reduces neuroinflammation and excitotoxicity, and promotes neuroplasticity and cognitive function.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

•      Adults: 10ml (500mg citicoline) twice daily

•      Paediatric: 5 to 10ml once or twice daily as directed by a pediatrician

•      May be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day

•      Always follow the dosage prescribed by your neurologist or pediatrician

SIDE EFFECTS

Common:

•      Generally, very well tolerated

•      Mild nausea

•      Headache
